Cabinet appoints Kniaziev as National Police chief

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appointed Police Criminal Investigation Department Head Serhii Kniaziev the new chief of the National Police of Ukraine.

As reported by Censor.NET, the decision was made at today's government meeting.

Earlier, Interior Minister Arsen Avakov introduced Kniaziev to Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman as the final candidate for the post of Ukraine's National Police chief.
