Ukrainian soldier killed by sniper near Luhanske village, - Staff

A Ukrainian serviceman was killed by a sniper in the Donbas in the evening of March 29.

Censor.NET reports citing the statement by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff press center.

"The situation in the ATO zone remains tense. The militants continue firing upon the positions of Ukrainian troops all along the demarcation line.

"A serviceman of a mechanized brigade carrying out combat missions in the vicinity of Luhanske village in the Donetsk direction was killed in action.

"According to preliminary information, the soldier was killed by an enemy sniper's bullet," the casualty report reads.
