Affordable Medicine program to launch April 1, - PM Hroisman

The program is carried out in three stages.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by Ukraine's PM Volodymyr Hroisman on Facebook.

"April 1 is the big day for Ukrainians' healthcare: the Affordable Medicine governmental program launches for patients with heart diseases, type 2 diabetes, and bronchial asthma," the prime minister wrote.

The three steps include: 1) get a correct medical prescription from a doctor; 2) find a pharmacy that is part of the Affordable Medicine program; 3) get the drugs free of charge or with a small additional payment.

However, some conditions of this program are not yet fulfilled, the Pharmacies Association said.
