Ukraine holding weapon supplies talks with Canada, - Poroshenko

Ukraine is negotiating weapon deliveries to the Armed Forces of Ukraine with Canada.

As reported by Censor.NET citing Ukrinform, this was said by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

"Our defense minister (Stepan Poltorak - Ed.) is in Canada now. The negotiations on weapon supplies to our country are at an advanced stage due to the strong support of our diaspora. We also continue joint military drills with our Canadian partners," he said.

As reported, Ukraine's Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak and his Canadian counterpart Harjit Sajjan signed an agreement on defense cooperation on April 3.
