Militants shelled Avdiivka with banned 152 mm guns, - Lysenko

This was announced by Defense Ministry spokesperson on ATO matters Andrii Lysenko, Censor.NET reports citing UNIAN.

"The militants shelled our positions at Avdiivka with 152 mm artillery. They fired about 40 shells for 40 minutes," he said.

It was reported earlier that two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in action over the past 24 hours. On May 26, the militants opened fire against the Armed Forces of Ukraine 61 times, in particular using heavy artillery.

In the Donetsk sector, pro-Russian hybrid forces attacked Ukrainian positions 19 times. Most of the attacks are reported at the military positions in the southern and eastern suburbs of the town of Avdiivka.
