Strong winds and rains coming to Ukraine

Strong wind will sweep across the entire country.

In the early hours of Oct. 6, the winds got stronger in the western regions of Ukraine, their speed reaching 25-30 mps.

Today, the winds are expected to grow stronger in most regions of the country, reaching extreme levels in some areas.

The wind speed will reach 19-24 mps in northern and central parts of Ukraine, and 15-20 mps in south and eastern regions.

During the day, light rain is in forecast for all regions, except for Zaporizhia, Odesa, Kherson, and Mykolaiv. The temperature will reach +10...+16 C in the west and north of the country. South, center, and east will be warmer, +14...+21.

Kyiv will see +12...+14 C today, cloudy skies with no rain.
