Hub schools renovation project keep being implemented in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
As reported by Censor.NET, Petrykivka hub school (Petrykivka village) was built in the 1950s. It has never been modernized since then.
The refurbishment of the educational institution was completed in the summer of 2017. It is now considered Ukraine’s best hub school.

All 19 classrooms of the school have projectors and multimedia boards. No more chalk and rags - pupils can write down and wipe out the information using hands alone.
The school now has an advanced cold-proof roof and a multi-colored heat-saving coating on its façade. All its windows are heat-saving as well.
Dnipropetrovsk Region Governor Valentyn Reznichenko, said the first stage of the school building renovation was completed in late 2017. The school premises were fully refurbished in 2018.
Yuriivka hub school (Yuriivka village).
The renovation of this school included winterization, roof repairs, removal of some walls, and a large-scale overhauling. The renovation was completed in the summer of 2017.
Zhovti Vody-based school No. 6 was overhauled for the first time in 30 years.
It also has heat-saving windows installed.
Its renovated heat-preserving façade allows significantly reduce heating expenses.
According to Reznichenko, a total of 25 schools were renovated across the region in 2017.
