10,000 Maidan Self Defense Activists Marched Through Downtown Kyiv. PHOTO + VIDEO

About 10 thousand activists of the Maidan Self Defense held a solemn procession in honor of the anniversary of the Euromaidan.

This is reported by Censor.NET citing Ukrainian News.

Before the start a procedure of blessing of the flags has taken place on the Mykhayilivska square.



After the blessing "the hundreds" lined up in a column and marched by Volodymyrska str. toward Shevchenko park headed by their leader Andrii Parubii.

The activists were carrying flags of Maidan Self Defense and Ukrainian Insurgent Army.



The procession passed by without incidents.


Today Ukraine is celebrating the first anniversary of the protests on the Maidan.
