Russian GRU attempted to clean up information regarding the death of its employee Egor Magda on a "combat mission" in Ukraine.
The information about his death in Ukraine was published on VK page of the Sharypovo city, Russia, Censor.NET reports.

Later the authors changed "Ukraine" to "Dagestan" in the post commemorating his death.
Then detailed information about GRU's Yegor Magda was deleted completely leaving the words: "Motherland should know and honor the memory of its heroes." Ukrainian investigative blogger Anton Pavlushko wrote.

The group's administrator admitted to relatives of the soldier killed in Ukraine that the information had to be removed at the request of Russian GRU.

The locals say that no one wants the truth about the deceased.
