At 11:55 p.m., May 12, an explosion occurred at 1,310th kilometer of the Odessa-Peresyp - Odessa - Zastava-2 haul.
This was stated by the Interior Minstry, Censor.NET reports citing Novoie Vremia.
According to the authorities, the explosion damaged 60 cm of rail, 90 cm of concrete sleepers, and created crater of 80 cm in radius and 90 cm in depth.
There were no casualties. The trains were not delayed. Law enforcement officers are investigating circumstances of the demolition.
Earlier, media reported that a train was to pass a few minutes before the explosion on the railway in Odesa.
