Yesterday, the police opened 25 criminal proceedings on the facts of war crimes committed by the Russian military in the Kherson region.

Last day, the occupiers hit peaceful settlements with mortars, artillery, tanks, and MLRS. Enemy shells hit the infrastructure, residential buildings suffered significant destruction. In the city of Kherson, explosions rang out both during the day and at night. In the KCM neighborhood, city center, Chornobaiivka, and Antonivka, high-rise and private buildings, a medical facility were damaged, and there are victims among local residents.

"A 45-year-old man from Kherson became the victim of artillery shelling by the Russian military. The man lives near the Hydropark and was at home during the shelling.
He was taken to the hospital with a mine-explosive hand injury. A 31-year-old local resident was injured as a result of shelling by Russian troops in the KCM micro-district. A man with a mine-explosive injury, head injury, and fractures was taken to the hospital. A 58-year-old man was injured during artillery shelling in the village of Antonivka. He was taken to the hospital with a mine-explosive injury and facial wounds," the report said.

A resident of the village of Novoraysk, Beryslav district, who was released by the armed forces in November, contacted the police. The woman reported that during the occupation of the village, her 70-year-old father rode his bicycle to work across the field. His path lay past the checkpoint of the Russian military. The man did not return home that day. He was found beaten in an extremely serious condition. According to the applicant, Russian soldiers beat her father, took his bicycle and a backpack with personal belongings. On the same day, the man died from his injuries. The police have opened criminal proceedings and are establishing all the circumstances of the crime.

The police are establishing the identity and circumstances of the death of an unknown man whose body was found in a field outside the village of Novopetrivka in the Visokopillia district. The field and approaches to it are mined.

Over the past day, the police opened 25 criminal proceedings under Article 438 "Violation of laws and customs of war" of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
