Russian troops used their analogues of the American JDAM-ER tonight for strikes on Sumy region.

"The type of glide bomb that the Russians used to strike the Sumy region on the night of March 24 has become known. Defense Express from its own sources received a photo of the wreckage on which you can recognize the so-called JDAM-ER analogue, the existence of which first became known at the beginning of January this year," the message says.
As noted, it was used for the first time in occupied Donetsk, when this aerial bomb fell in the north-western district of the city on March 12. And according to information from the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian troops dropped 11 hovering bombs, at least some of which are JDAM-ER analogues, as evidenced by the photo.
"Similar wreckage was just recorded in Donetsk itself, where it was known exactly about the use of a kit that turns a regular 500-kg high-explosive FAB-500M-62 into a glider with satellite navigation correction. In particular, the shape of the wings, as well as the fasteners, indicate this." , - explains the publication.
