A detachment of Canadian Armed Forces demining instructors trains Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel in mine safety as part of the Canadian Armed Forces’ UNIFIER training operation in Poland.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.
"As Russia's war continues, Ukrainian soldiers and civilians face an explosive threat on the battlefield. The Canadian Combat Engineer Detachment under the command of Lieutenant Jacques is helping Ukraine to overcome the mine threat on the battlefield as part of the Canadian Armed Forces' UNIFIER training operation, during which a team of Canadian engineers in the Republic of Poland is teaching Ukrainian soldiers many of the skills needed for survival and endurance.
Canadian Armed Forces personnel are on the territory of the Republic of Poland to use their experience to train Ukrainian soldiers and ensure their operational readiness," the statement said.
