Prigozhin announced that he would give his positions in Bakhmut to Kadyrov
The owner of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeniy Prigozhin, said that his mercenaries would hand over their positions in Bakhmut to Ramzan Kadyrov’s forces.
This is stated in the telegram channel of the mercenaries' leader, Censor.NET reports.
"I am already in touch with his representatives (Kadyrov - Ed.) to immediately start transferring positions. On 10 May, at 00.00, exactly at the moment when we estimate that we will have fully exhausted our combat potential, our comrades-in-arms will take our places and continue the assault on the town of Bakhmut," he said.
The channel also published Prigozhin's letter to the Russian Ministry of Defence.
As a reminder, on 5 May, the owner of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeniy Prigozhin, said that his militants would leave Bakhmut to "lick their wounds". They will hand over their positions to the Russian Ministry of Defence.
On the same day, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov said that his units could take over Bakhmut if the Wagner PMC left.
