Trial of 22 captured Azov’s soldiers has begun in Russia. PHOTOS
On Wednesday, 14 June, the trial of more than 22 Ukrainian servicemen captured during the fighting in Ukraine began in southern Russia.
This is reported by the AR agency, Censor.NET informs.
Two of the 24 people charged were exchanged for Russian prisoners of war. Of the remaining 22 defendants on trial, eight are women who reportedly worked as cooks in the Azov battalion.
If convicted, they face 15 years to life in prison.
