On 21 June, a floating dock sank in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol, along with the vessel that was in it.

It is noted that the floating houseboat sank in the Southern Bay. It is the property of the Perseus ship repair plant.

A representative of the company told the newspaper that it happened on 21 June, but did not provide any other details.

"The relevant authorities are currently working at the scene," he said.

A source in the emergency services confirmed the incident with the dock. It is noted that the cause was not external factors, but the dilapidated structure itself.

A floating dock is a vessel of the technical fleet. It is designed to lift another vessel out of the water and then launch it for repair or transport.
