Former head of Security Service of Ukraine, Ivan Bakanov, confirmed that he had received a lawyer’s certificate in Poltava region.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to Glavkom.
Bakanov confirmed that he had fully completed the procedure: he passed the exams, completed a six-month internship, took the oath and received a certificate.
Earlier, the information that Bakanov had become a lawyer was made public by the head of the Bar Council of Poltava Region, Volodymyr Skukis. According to him, Bakanov received his certificate on 27 June. Skukis also confirmed that Bakanov personally visited Poltava.
Bakanov confirmed all these details in a comment to Glavkom. He also provided photos of himself from Poltava, which proved that he was there. The former head of the SBU also noted that several other well-known people had received lawyer's licences along with him.
