On Thursday, 20 July, Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis received copies of his credentials from new German Ambassador to Ukraine Martin Jaeger.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
The statement reads: "Yevgen Perebyinis informed the interlocutor about the current situation in Ukraine in the context of countering Russian aggression and noted the importance of the large-scale assistance received from Germany.

For his part, Martin Jaeger assured of Germany's continued support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and stressed the German government's readiness to further strengthen military, economic and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.
Perebyinis briefed the diplomat on the current situation in Ukraine in the context of countering Russian aggression and noted the importance of the large-scale assistance received from Germany.
