An explosion occurred in the temporarily occupied Berdiansk on the afternoon of 12 August.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko.

"Berdiansk. Explosion and beautiful cotton bloom. Apparently, in the port area," Andriushchenko wrote.

He also added that explosions were heard in the Mariupol region between Yalta and Urzuf and that the effects of burning/fire were seen in the sky in the direction of Zaporizhzhia region.
