Two Canadian armoured vehicles for evacuating the wounded were sent to the frontline, purchased with funds raised on the United24 platform.
This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, Censor.NET reports.
"Each vehicle is equipped with armour that meets NATO standards - it protects against kinetic ammunition, artillery shrapnel, improvised explosive devices, etc. The vehicles can drive even with a flat tyre for 50 to 150 km to evacuate the wounded to the nearest medical facility as soon as possible," the official said.
It is noted that thanks to donors, UNITED24 has purchased 13 armoured evacuation vehicles. The rest of the vehicles will soon be in Ukraine.
