Oleh Zlydar, a driver of a mortar platoon of a mechanized battalion, was killed defending Ukraine near the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
This was reported on Facebook by the mayor of Brovary, Ihor Sapozhko, Censor.NET reports.
"The tragic news has again shocked the Brovary community... Soldier Oleh Zlydar, a driver of a mortar platoon of a mechanized battalion, died on December 10, 2023, faithful to his military oath, in a battle for Ukraine, its freedom and independence, near the village of Robotyne, Polohiv district, Zaporizhzhia region. Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Oleh Olehovych...", - the statement reads.
The funeral service for Oleh Zlydar will take place tomorrow, 21 December, at 10.30 a.m. on Svobody Square in Brovary.
