SBU seized equipment and amber-work worth $1 million. PHOTOS

Today in Rivne the SBU and the State Fiscal Service seized equipment to manufacture amber products, as well as amber-work worth over $1 million.

This is stated by the SBU press service, Censor.NET reports.

As reported before, Aug. 3, an interdepartmental group of the SBU and the police seized a batch of illegally extracted amber weighing nearly three tons. According to preliminary estimates, the market value of 103 bags of amber exceeds $3 million.

A criminal proceeding has been commenced under Part 1 of Article 198 (acquisition, storage or sale of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
