Border police found drone debris near the village of Etulia, Vulcanesti district, not far from the Ukrainian cities of Bolgrad and Reni.
Moldovan law enforcement officers published a photo of the found debris in the middle of a field, identifying it as the remains of a Shahed UAV.
"Access to the area of the drone debris has been restricted. There is no risk or danger to the public in the area, and the authorities have taken all necessary measures to maintain public order, peace and security," the Border Police said.
Law enforcement officials suspect that the debris found is one of the drones shot down by a Ukrainian air defence missile system.
