Large farmers’ protest takes place in Warsaw: roads blocked, unknown people set off flares. PHOTOS

Today, 27 February, a large farmers’ protest is taking place in Warsaw.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to Babel.

As noted, thousands of protesters gathered in the city centre, blocking roads and streets. The march to the Sejm began with several incidents in which the police intervened - unknown people lit flares in Defilad Square and started a fire. The Polish media called it the largest protest yet.

Farmers in Poland are protesting against food imports from Ukraine, claiming that this undermines their competitiveness, as well as against the EU 's Green Deal policy, which imposes a number of restrictions on farmers.
