Film "Dune. Part Two" was shot with Ukrainian lenses. PHOTOS

Lenses produced by the Ukrainian company were actively involved in the filming process of "Dune. Part Two", which recently had its world premiere.

This was reported by the company's employee Kostiantin Garkavyi on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"Almost two years of waiting and finally we can say that lenses produced by IronGlass x VLFV Lens Rehousing - User Group were actively involved in the filming process. This is far from the first big film with our lenses, but it has become a real testing ground for our MKll gears," wrote Garkavyi.

As noted, the development of this case and mechanics began in 2021, and in early 2022, the next prototypes were made, but then the war broke out.

"Despite the difficult times, the team continued to work, some on the ground, some remotely from the trenches. I'm very pleased that we managed to make the pre-production pieces for Greg Fraser in time, and he used them to the fullest on the Duna set. I am pleased that MKll from IronGlass was chosen among thousands of other options, that they worked perfectly without any complaints about the mechanics and optical component, that even in difficult times in a warring country we can make a world-class product and be involved in exciting film events," he added.
