Four civilians injured as result of shelling in Kherson region. PHOTOS
Throughout the day, Russians shelled Beryslav, Antonivka and Yantarne in Kherson region, injuring four people.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, Censor.NET reports.
"On the afternoon of 16 March 2024, Russian troops attacked the city of Beryslav with drones. Two civilians were injured as a result of the explosives dropped," the statement said.
In Beryslav, in addition to the 71-year-old man reported earlier, a 27-year-old woman was injured. She was diagnosed with a mine-blast injury, shoulder wound, and contusion.
"Also, two civilians were injured as a result of hostile shelling of Antonivka and Yantarne in Kherson district. They were on the street at the time of the attack," the prosecutor's office added.
The explosions also damaged private houses and outbuildings.
According to the RMA, an 83-year-old woman who was at home at the time was injured in the attack on Antonivka. She sustained explosive trauma, a closed head injury and contusion. The woman was taken to hospital in moderate condition.
