SSU: Employees of vehicle companies preparing missile attacks on locations of Defense Forces detained in Kherson. VIDEO&PHOTOS
Law enforcement officers exposed four employees of local vehicle companies who were preparing a series of attacks on the temporary base of the Defense Forces in Kherson.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the SSU press service.
Thus, in Kherson, a Russian group of informants was detained who were preparing a new series of aerial attacks on the city.
To fulfill the enemy's task, each of them acted according to a clearly defined "job description". For example, two of the defendants were drivers of shuttle buses, and while transporting passengers, they tracked the movement and arrival points of military equipment. Two more are fleet operators. In their free time, they would go around the city, where they would conduct additional reconnaissance of the "necessary" objects. The criminals also had confidential conversations with the staff of gas stations and shops to find out about enemy "hits" and their consequences," the statement said.
The attackers passed all the information to the group leader, who then passed it on to Russian military intelligence. She remotely maintained communication with the occupiers through a "liaison" from the left bank of the Kherson region.
The invaders planned to use the intelligence information to prepare new and adjust repeated attacks on the city. Enemy informants were timely exposed and their intelligence activities were documented. At the same time, measures were taken to protect the personnel and military equipment of the Defense Forces in the regional center.
During the searches at the residences of the Russian informants, the SSU found Kremlin symbols, chevrons of the Russian Guard and mobile phones with evidence of criminal activity.
SSU investigators have served four detainees suspicion notices under Part 2 of Art. 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unauthorized dissemination of information on the direction, movement of weapons, movement, relocation or deployment of the Armed Forces committed under martial law). The offenders are in custody. They face up to 8 years in prison.
