Shooting in hotel in Pechersk: resident of Vasylkiv served notice of suspicion of premeditated murder - Prosecutor General’s Office. PHOTOS
Under the procedural supervision of the Pechersk District Prosecutor's Office of Kyiv, two residents of Dnipro and Vasylkiv were served a notice of suspicion of hooliganism committed by a group of persons with the use of firearms (Part 2, 4 Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). In addition, a resident of Vasylkiv was also served a notice of suspicion of premeditated murder (Article 115(1) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

What did the investigation find?
According to the investigation, on 23 November at about 00 hrs. 30, a conflict arose between two groups of men in a hotel in the Pechersk district of the capital, which escalated into a fight. One of the participants in the conflict pulled out a gun and made several shots, wounding a hotel security guard and two men. He then fled the scene.
The hotel resident died on the spot from a gunshot wound, his friend and a security guard sustained gunshot wounds to the chest and were taken to hospital.
Law enforcement officers detained the suspects in accordance with Article 208 of the CPC of Ukraine.
The issue of choosing a preventive measure is currently being decided.
