Border guards in Chernihiv region shoot down Russian FPV drone on fibre optics. VIDEO&PHOTOS
Soldiers of the Chernihiv Border Guard Detachment shot down an enemy FPV drone that had flown in from the Russian Federation. The UAV was controlled via a fibre-optic cable to bypass Ukrainian electronic warfare systems.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press service of the State Border Guard Service.
Border guards managed to land the drone almost unharmed using small arms fire.
After the downed FPV was neutralised by sappers, Russian "know-how technology" will now be studied by experts.
The material of the drone was also interesting: it was carbon, which the Russians had never used before.
