"The Russian military shelled residential areas of the region's settlements, damaging three multi-storey buildings and seven private houses. The occupiers also damaged a garage and private cars. As a result of Russian aggression, 1 person was killed and 4 others were injured," the statement said.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, a private house in Tomaryne caught fire as a result of an attack from an enemy UAV. Rescuers managed to quickly extinguish the fire.
In Kherson, the ceiling of a residential building and two cars caught fire as a result of an enemy shell hit. The fire was quickly extinguished.
Yesterday evening, Russian artillery struck the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. The enemy fire destroyed two private houses and two civilian cars.
A 62-year-old man who was in the house sustained blast trauma and shrapnel wounds to his face. An ambulance crew treated him on the spot.
