One person killed and 15 wounded in Russian attacks on Chernihiv region in one week. PHOTOS
Over the week, the occupiers carried out 114 attacks in the Chernihiv region, 343 explosions were recorded. 15 people were injured and one person was killed as a result of hostile shelling of Chernihiv and Semenivka.
This was reported by the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military District Administration Viacheslav Chaus, Censor.NET reports.
As noted, the Russians shelled 20 settlements in Chernihiv, Novhorod-Siverskyi and Koryukiv districts.
In particular, the enemy launched two missile strikes and 50 air strikes, including an X-59 air-to-surface missile, KABs, unguided aerial missiles, Shahed kamikaze drones and FPV strike drones.
According to the head of the RMA, the Russians completely destroyed 3 residential buildings and 2 outbuildings, damaged 2 high-rise buildings, 82 houses, 30 outbuildings, 4 administrative buildings, and cars. The enemy also targeted 2 boiler houses, a lyceum building, a bakery, a shop, a hangar and a pellet production facility.
A strike on Semenivka
Chaus noted that the attack on Semenivka damaged two buildings of the town's hospital. This is the third attack on the medical facility. Windows and doors were smashed and equipment damaged. Currently, the hospital has suspended scheduled hospitalisation. Patients with acute conditions are being transferred to Koriukivka hospital.
"The community is helping with the restoration - they have already provided 880 USB sheets and more than 400 metres of film. We plan to involve international partners. I would like to thank the local doctors who continue to work in the community. Despite the danger, despite the shelling," added the head of the RMA.
