On the morning of 9 January, at 11.00, the Russian invaders attacked Kherson with three GABs. One bomb hit a private house, destroying it.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the head of the Kherson CMA Roman Mrochko.

"A man and a woman were pulled out of the rubble and taken away by an ambulance. The 85-year-old victim has a contusion, explosive and closed head injury. Another victim has an acute stress reaction," the statement said.

The enemy air strike also caused fires. An enterprise and a kindergarten were hit.

Two more victims were later reported. The men, aged 52 and 62, were in the street when the GAB hit. The 62-year-old victim was treated on the spot by doctors. He had an explosive injury and a shrapnel wound to his right hand.

The 52-year-old wounded man was taken to hospital. The man suffered facial abrasions, explosive and closed head injuries.

Shelling of Kherson region in the morning

In the morning, Russian troops attacked a cyclist in Beryslav with a drone, the Kherson Regional Military Administration reported. The 64-year-old woman sustained an explosive injury, shrapnel wounds to her shoulder, lower back and leg. The victim was taken to hospital for medical treatment.

Also in Beryslav, a 71-year-old woman and a 60-year-old man sustained explosive injuries and shrapnel wounds as a result of a drone dropping explosives. Both victims were taken to hospital for medical treatment.

At around 08:30, Nezlamne of the Bilozerka community came under Russian attack. As a result of the enemy attack, a woman who was on the street sustained fatal injuries.
