Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops attacked Kherson and 37 other settlements in the region, injuring five people.
This was announced by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin, Censor.NET reports.
Thus, it is noted that Antonivka, Naddnipryanske, Prydniprovske, Inzhenerne, Zelenivka, Sadove, Darivka, Kizomys, Stanislav, Shyroka Balka, Mykilske, Beryslav, Chervonyi Mayak, Novoraysk, Osokorivka came under enemy fire and air strikes over the past day, Novovorontsovka, Mylove, Shlyakhove, Zmiivka, Monastyrske, Olgivka, Burgunka, Ivanivka, Lvove, Tyahyntsi, Novotyahyntsi, Tokarivka, Mykhaylivka, Virivka, Kozatske, Zolota Balka, Novooleksandrivka, Dudchany, Sofiyivka, Vesele, Poniativka, Veletynske and the city of Kherson.
The Russian military hit critical infrastructure and residential areas of the region's settlements, damaging 9 private houses in particular. The occupiers also damaged a mobile phone tower, a garage, and private cars.
"Five people were injured as a result of Russian aggression," Prokudin added.
According to the National Police in the Kherson region, over the past day, Russian troops shelled civilian infrastructure in the Kherson and Beryslav districts with artillery and attacked residential areas and vehicles with UAVs.
Occupants attacked a civilian car in Tekstylne with a drone. The 59-year-old driver was wounded and taken to hospital with mine-blast and craniocerebral injuries, contusion, and shrapnel wounds to his limbs.
During the day, Russians dropped ammunition from a UAV on Antonivka. The explosions injured two local residents, who were taken out of the danger zone by police and taken to a medical facility. A 47-year-old woman and an 80-year-old man were diagnosed with shrapnel wounds to their limbs.
A few hours later, the drone strikes were repeated. A 44-year-old man sustained an explosive injury and shrapnel wounds to his thighs. The occupiers hit a civilian car with an FPV drone, which was damaged.
At night, Russian troops shelled Zelenivka with artillery. The strikes destroyed three trucks.
Artillery was also fired at Dariivka and Mykilske, damaging three private houses and a garage.
