In the evening of 30 January, search-and-rescue works were completed in Sumy at the site of a Russian drone's hit on a residential high-rise building.

This was announced by Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko, Censor.NET reports.

The death toll has risen to 9 people.

It is noted that for 19 hours, rescuers were dismantling the rubble, pulling out bodies from under the ruins.

13 people were injured, including an 8-year-old girl. Two apartment buildings and more than 20 cars were damaged.

Police also received 129 statements from local residents about the consequences of the Russian shelling.

"The process of documenting Russia's war crime - a direct attack on civilians - is ongoing. The mobile point of invincibility deployed by the rescuers continues to work around the clock," the Interior Minister added.
