At night, enemy shelled Nikopol district in Dnipropetrovsk region: woman was wounded, hospital, sports school, and residential buildings were damaged. PHOTOS

On the night of 1 February 2025, the shelling of Nikopol in the Dnipro region damaged a hospital, a sports school, and residential buildings.

This was reported in a telegram by the head of the Dnipro Regional Military Administration Serhii Lysak, Censor.NET reports.

"In the evening, the aggressor continued to attack Nikopol district. They used Grad multiple rocket launchers and heavy artillery," Lysak wrote.

Several infrastructure facilities were damaged as a result of the night shelling, including a sports school, two apartment blocks, and private houses, an outbuilding, a garage, and greenhouses. A medical facility, a hospital in Nikopol, was also damaged.

"According to the updated information, the hospital was also damaged during the night shelling of Nikopol," Lysak wrote.

A 79-year-old female patient of the hospital was reportedly injured in the attack. She suffered facial abrasions and is currently undergoing treatment.

Russian attack on 1 February

Earlier, Censor.NET reported that racists attacked the Poltava region, damaging the energy infrastructure in the Myrhorod district. As a result of the attack, 4 people were killed and 13 injured, including children. An entrance was destroyed.

Russian troops also attacked the Kyiv region using UAVs. The alert was raised twice last night. There were no casualties among the population.

The Russian armed forces attacked the Odesa region with drones, presumably of the Shahed-136 type. At least five private houses, outbuildings, and a gas pipeline were damaged. A 77-year-old woman and a 9-year-old girl suffered acute stress reactions.

According to Zelenskyy, there are damages in the Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, and Kyiv regions. As of now, six people have been reported injured. In Kharkiv, one person was killed in a drone attack.
