On 19 February 2025, at 08:50, the Russian army carried out 2 air strikes on Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press centre of the Prosecutor General's Office.
As noted, the munitions hit a dense residential area of the settlement. As a result of the attack, three women and a 65-year-old man were injured in their apartments. The victims were diagnosed with mine-blast injuries, shrapnel wounds and contusion. They were taken to hospital.
Seven minutes later, the Russian Armed Forces carried out four more bombing strikes. The strikes hit the private sector. Two residents sustained bruises and concussions at their places of residence. They were provided with qualified medical assistance, and the condition of one of the victims is assessed as serious.
Previously, the enemy used 6 "FABs-250" from the Unified Gliding and Correction Module (UMPK). Four apartment buildings and 34 private houses, power and gas lines and cars were damaged in the city.
Later, Vadym Filashkin, the head of the Donetsk RMA, said that at least 1 person was killed and 7 wounded in today's strikes on Kostiantynivka.
"According to preliminary information, in the morning Russians dropped 4 guided aerial bombs on the town. In addition to the known casualties, one more person may be under the rubble of one of the buildings," he elaborated.
Thirty-four private houses, an administrative building, three power lines and three gas pipelines were damaged.
UPDATE.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reported at 3 pm: "Emergency workers found the bodies of 2 dead under the rubble, two more people were injured.
The explosions caused significant damage to the private residential sector. In total, rescuers dismantled 13 tons of building structures.
The rescue operations, which have now been completed, were complicated by repeated shelling. Due to the danger, they had to be temporarily suspended."
