On 4 March 2025, in the evening, the Russian armed forces attacked Odesa and the region with drones, preliminarily of the Shahed-136 type. Energy, port, and civilian infrastructure facilities were targeted.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press centre of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office.
As noted, the attack killed a 73-year-old man, and another local resident sustained moderate injuries.
According to the investigation, at least 20 private houses in the suburbs of Odesa, commercial premises, a business center, a post office, a medical laboratory, shopping facilities, and cars were damaged and destroyed.
"In addition, on 4 March, at around 21:30, the enemy launched a missile attack on the territory of a non-operational recreation center in the resort village of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district. A three-story building of the base was destroyed, windows in nearby houses were smashed," the statement said.
The inspection is ongoing, and a full list of destruction and damage is being established. At the scene, prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement officers, are documenting the consequences of Russia's armed aggression.
Earlier, it was reported that at the end of the day on Tuesday, 4 March, Russian invaders struck at the critical infrastructure of Odesa. Later, it became known that a man was killed in a Russian drone attack in the suburbs of Odesa.
