As a result of Russian shelling in the Poltava region, shrapnel damaged five households and a cemetery.

This was reported by the Poltava RMA, Censor.NET informs.

It is noted that Russian troops tried to strike in the Poltava region. The air defence system worked on the enemy target.

"The shrapnel damaged the glazing of residential buildings on the territory of 5 households and the local cemetery. Fortunately, there were no casualties. There were no hits to critical infrastructure," the statement said.

"We are grateful to our Defence Forces for their protection. Take care of yourself and your loved ones. Take shelter during air raid alerts," the RMA called.
