Two injured in Kharkiv as result of drone attack (updated). PHOTOS
On the night of 6 March, an enemy drone hit a high-rise building in Kharkiv.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the mayor, Ihor Terekhov.
The attack damaged the roof and technical floor of a multi-storey residential building. There was a small fire. The elevator shaft, part of the technical floor, and the front part of the slabs between the ninth and technical floors were destroyed.
"Glazing in nearby buildings and eight cars were damaged. People are being evacuated from the entrance of the high-rise building.
Two people were injured - both of them have an acute stress reaction.
All relevant services and volunteers are working on the site," Terekhov said.
According to Kharkiv police, the enemy struck at around 03:50 a.m.. As a result of the falling debris, presumably from a Geran UAV, a residential area of the city was damaged.
In particular, the roof, lift shaft, technical floor, and façade of the nine-story building were damaged.
A fire also broke out, damaging eight cars and shattering windows in nearby multi-storey buildings and a children's educational institution.
