The ballistic missile used by the Russian army to strike the port of Odesa on the evening of 11 March had a cluster warhead.

This was announced by the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Oleh Kiper, Censor.NET reports citing Suspilne.

"A rocket arrived at the port, a cluster missile, which explodes on approach to the target, to the ground, and destroys almost everything in its path within a radius of 200-300 metres. That is, the missile is very powerful and very dangerous," said the head of the RMA.

According to Kiper, in this way Russia is trying to destroy Ukraine's port infrastructure to prevent the country from developing economically and trading.

As a reminder, on the evening of 11 March, Russia attacked the port of Odesa with a ballistic missile. The missile damaged the Barbados-flagged MJ PINA. As a result, four Syrian citizens were killed. Two more people - a Ukrainian (a port employee) and a Syrian (a crew member) - were injured. Another ship, berths and grain storage facilities were also damaged.
