FSB agent who spied on positions of Defence Forces near Pokrovsk is exposed - SSU. PHOTOS
The Security Service detained another FSB agent in Donetsk region. He was a 21-year-old local resident who was gathering intelligence to prepare new ruscist attacks in the hottest area of the frontline - Pokrovsk.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the SSU press centre.
According to the investigation, the defendant was recruited by the FSB through Telegram channels.
What was the traitor interested in?
"After receiving the enemy's tasks, the agent began to spy on the headquarters and strongholds of the Ukrainian troops.
Also, on the instructions of the Nazis, he tried to reconnoiter the coordinates of the combat positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces artillery, which keeps under fire control the assault groups of the occupiers trying to break through to Pokrovsk," the statement said.
SSU officers timely exposed the traitor, documented his crimes and took comprehensive measures to secure the positions of the Defence Forces.
Detention of a traitor
At the final stage of the operation, the agent was detained.
The SSU investigators served him a notice of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).
The offender is in custody. He faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
Earlier it was reported that an agent of the Russian special services was detained in Odesa, who was preparing coordinates for Russian strikes on the city. The enemy was interested in reserve command posts and administrative buildings of the Defence Forces.
