President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Czech leader Petr Pavel started their meeting in Moshchun, Kyiv region.

The head of state said this in a telegram, Censor.NET reports.

"Today, we started the day with Czech President Petr Pavel and our meeting in Moshchun in Kyiv region, a symbolic place that is very memorable for all of us in Ukraine.

The battles for Moshchun against the Russian invaders were very important for the defence of Kyiv, and therefore our entire country," he said in a statement.

The Czech and Ukrainian leaders paid tribute to the memory of the fallen defenders who fought for Ukraine's freedom.
