Vsevolod Shabadakh, a sergeant and tank commander of the 41st separate mechanised brigade, was killed during a combat mission in the Sumy region. Before the war, the man worked as a lighting designer at the Rivne Regional Philharmonic.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported on the Philharmonic's Facebook page.
"Some people have a special gift - to shine from within. They don't just work with light, they become it.
This was Vsevolod Shabadakh, a lighting designer at the Rivne Regional Philharmonic. He was the person who filled the space with warmth and energy, always ready to help, always devoted to his work," the statement reads.
The Philharmonic said that in March 2022, Vsevolod Shabadakh joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine and became a tank commander of the 41st Separate Mechanised Brigade.
On 24 March 2025, Vsevolod Shabadakh was killed in the Sumy sector while performing a combat mission. He gave his life defending Ukraine.
"Now this light will never fade away. It will remain in our hearts, in our memories, in the glare of the spotlights that will always remind us of him," the Philharmonic noted.
