In the afternoon of 1 April, Russian troops shelled a residential area in the town of Bilytske, Pokrovsk district, Donetsk region.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press center of the SES.
"This afternoon, the enemy struck at a residential area in the town of Bilytske, Pokrovsk district," - the statement reads.
According to the State Emergency Service, the shell hit near a five-storey residential building, setting off a fire in one of the apartments on the ground floor. Rescuers promptly extinguished the fire, preventing it from spreading to neighbouring apartments.
Preliminary, three private houses were also damaged. The consequences are being investigated.
"There is no information about the victims," the SES added.
