Targeted missile attack by Russian Federation on Kryvyi Rih. Zelenskyy: Only way to stop terror is to put pressure on Moscow. PHOTOS
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy published a photo of the aftermath of the Russian ballistic missile attack on Kryvyi Rih on Wednesday, 2 April. All of the dead are civilians.
The head of state wrote about this on Telegram channel, Censor.NET reports.
"A targeted Russian missile attack on Kryvyi Rih. All necessary services are on the spot, eliminating the consequences of the shelling and helping people. There are victims. They are being provided with medical assistance. As of now, it is known that four people's lives were unfortunately taken by this strike. All of them are civilians. My condolences to the families and friends," he said.
The President stressed that such attacks are called the same everywhere in the world: it is terror.
"This can only be stopped by putting enough pressure on Moscow, on the Russian system, so that they are forced to abandon war and terror, and this depends on the partners - on America, on Europe, on others in the world. The only thing separating us all from at least a complete and unconditional cessation of attacks is the lack of Russia's consent to end the war. Only the pressure of the world can ensure such consent. And all such Russian strikes prove that Ukraine needs enough air defence systems and missiles to protect all people in Ukraine from Russian terror. We are working with all our partners to achieve this, and we thank everyone who helps us. To everyone who understands that we need pressure on Russia and stable support for Ukraine," Zelenskyy concluded.
