President Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared the details of his working visit to Dnipro.
The head of state said this in a video message, Censor.NET reports.
"Many different important meetings. Very meaningful. I visited our soldiers who are recovering from injuries. I would like to thank our doctors, all the medical workers who are saving our boys, our girls, our military and all those who suffered from Russian strikes. One of the biggest results in saving the lives of our people is here in Dnipro - more than 40,000 wounded, 96% of them have been saved. I would like to thank you for this - you are just great. All the doctors, surgeons and everyone who supports us - thank you. I had the opportunity to talk to the soldiers and recognise them with state awards. There are many heroic guys. I wish you a speedy recovery!" - he said.
The President also spoke with veterans.
"It is important that the guys are very energetic, know how to solve problems, and do not forget about their comrades. And today there were specific issues - everything must be resolved. Opportunities for the rehabilitation and development of veterans in small communities must be created, and it is a good idea to create such opportunities at schools.
It is really important to do everything possible to keep veterans connected to their units, to their comrades-in-arms, and to the Defence Forces in general. If some opportunities for our veterans to help the army are not working because of the military bureaucracy, this definitely needs to be changed. The Ministry of Defence will be dealing with this, and the Office will help, and it is important that the Minister of Veterans Affairs does as well - I will talk to everyone. Many things were said, and we recorded everything," he added.
