A new police station No. 2 of the Bucha District Police Department of the MDNP in Kyiv region was opened in the village of Borodianka in Kyiv region.

This was reported by Censor.NET.

As noted, in March 2022, during the occupation of Borodianka, Russian troops destroyed the police station No. 2 of the Bucha District Police Department of the MDNP in Kyiv region. A new, state-of-the-art police station was built on the site of the destroyed administrative building with the assistance and financial support of philanthropist Howard Buffett.

On the third anniversary of the liberation of Kyiv region, the National Police of Ukraine and the Borodianska community received a fully operational, high-security police office built in line with international standards and in compliance with human rights, inclusivity, barrier-free and wartime security principles.

The department is designed in such a way that civilians are separated from detainees in zones. There is a separate entrance for patrol police officers. The reception area has an area for visitors with children, and there is a playground with road signs for learning traffic rules near the building.

The station is equipped with everything necessary for visitors with disabilities. There are ramps at each entrance to the premises, lifts, handrails, tactile tiles and signs in Braille. Each floor has a lavatory for people with limited mobility.
