Man and 3-year-old child die in fire in Kharkiv region - SES. PHOTOS
A child and a man died as a result of a domestic fire in the village of Pisochyn, Kharkiv district.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press service of the State Emergency Service.
"On 7 April, at 19:52, the 101 call centre received a report of a fire in a private house in the village of Pisochyn, Kharkiv district. When the rescuers arrived, the fire had engulfed household items in the house. Unfortunately, a man born in 1981 and a girl born in 2022 died at the scene of the fire," the statement said.
It is noted that at 20:08 the fire was localised, and at 20:44 it was completely eliminated.
Two crews of the 7th fire and rescue unit and firefighters from the local fire brigade of Pisochyn village were involved in the firefighting operations. Psychologists from the State Emergency Service were at the scene to help the families of the victims.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Earlier it was reported that law enforcement officers had served a notice of suspicion of neglect of parental responsibility on a 29-year-old mother whose four young sons died in a fire in a private house in the village of Pisochyn in Kharkiv region.
