Russian occupants shelled the Donetsk region 20 times, killing 4 people and wounding 2.
This was announced by the head of the RMA Vadym Filashkin, Censor.NET reports.
Volnovakha district
Russians killed a person in Bahatyra of the Velyka Novosilka district.
Pokrovsk district
A person was killed in Pokrovsk, 4 houses were damaged. Another 1 person died in Novoekonomichne of the Hrodivka community.
Kramatorsk district
In Lyman, a person was injured, 4 private houses, 4 summer cottages, 2 outbuildings were damaged; in Zarichne, 1 house was destroyed and 1 damaged. In Serhiivka, a religious building of the St Andrew's community was damaged. A workshop was damaged in Sloviansk. In Kostyantynivka, a person was killed, 4 private houses, a multi-storey building, a coffee shop, and 3 cars were damaged.
Bakhmut district
A person was wounded, and 16 houses were damaged in Siversk.
On 9 April 2025, Russian troops fired 20 times at the Donetsk region, killing 4 people in Novoekonomichne, Bahatyr, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk. Another 2 people were injured in the region during the day.
84 people were evacuated from the frontline, including 15 children.
