Russia attacked Zaporizhzhia and region in morning: fire broke out at petrol station and in high-rise building in Stepnohirsk. PHOTO

On the morning of 14 April, enemy drones attacked Zaporizhzhia. The occupiers struck Stepnohirsk with GABs.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov.

A fire broke out at a petrol station in Zaporizhzhia as a result of the morning attack.

"The emergency service has already extinguished the fire. Fortunately, no one was injured," said Fedorov.

The Russians also struck with guided aerial bombs and attacked Stepnohirsk's residential infrastructure with multiple rocket launchers, causing a fire to break out in a nine-storey building.

"The power supply was cut off and a fire broke out in a nine-storey building. The enemy attacked residential buildings in the frontline town of Stepnohirsk," the statement said.

Shelling in the region over the last day

In total, the occupiers made 461 attacks on 12 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region during the day:

  • Russian troops carried out 23 air strikes on Stepnohirsk, Kamianske, Pavlivka, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Chervone, and Malynivka.
  • 299 UAVs of various modifications attacked Bilenke, Stepnohirsk, Kamianske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne and Novodarivka.
  • Kamianske, Novodanylivka, Shcherbaky and Novodarivka were shelled with 8 MLRS attacks.
  • 131 artillery shells hit the territory of Bilenke, Kamianske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne and Novodarivka.
